After completing the intro, you'll create your first character. Choose a class that suits your playstyle and start your first expedition to begin exploring the caves.
Warriors are great for beginners due to their balanced stats and survivability. Scouts are also excellent for finding more treasures during expeditions.
Select a character and expedition duration, then send them exploring. They'll automatically progress through the caves, encounter events, and return with rewards when the time is up.
Gameplay
Yes! DepthDrift is designed to work offline. Your expeditions continue even when you're not connected to the internet.
Team expeditions are unlocked when you have 2 or more characters. You can then form teams to tackle deeper cave layers together.
Focus on the Headquarters to increase your character limit, then upgrade the Laboratory for better resource drops and the Warehouse for more storage.
Equipment can be found during expeditions or crafted at the Forge. Higher-level characters and deeper explorations yield better equipment.
Technical
Try restarting the app or your device. If the problem persists, contact support with your device model and iOS version.
Your progress is automatically saved to your device. Make sure to backup your device regularly through iCloud or iTunes.
Currently, save transfers between devices are not supported. Each device maintains its own save file.
Advanced Tips
Characters can evolve to advanced classes by meeting level requirements and using specific skills. Check the Class Advancement screen for details.
Characters can reach level 100, and facilities can be upgraded to level 50. Each level provides meaningful improvements.
Upgrade your Laboratory for better drop rates, use Engineers for crafting bonuses, and send Scouts for treasure-finding advantages.
